The 2024 Miata Trophy season made for exceptional viewing, with each round producing plenty of on-track action to savour and enjoy. An array of drivers took to the class podiums, with an incredible seven different race winners.
As a result, excitement for the upcoming 2025 season is high and this anticipation has only heightened by the release of the provisional 2025 calendar.
For the first time, Snetterton’s technical 300 circuit configuration is poised to host the championship’s season opener. Drivers will all be keen to impress and start the season in as strong fashion possible, as they look to replicate the accomplishments of Declan Lee and John Langridge in becoming Miata Trophy Champion.
Silverstone is scheduled next, giving drivers opportunity to race at the same venue that will be used for the British Grand Prix in July. Following on from Silverstone is two rounds on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit.
Racing on the historic extended circuit configuration is not an opportunity that comes around often, so it brings great privilege to have it on the Miata Trophy calendar for the third successive season.
Donington Park marks the midway point of the season in July and completes a second consecutive race on Grand Prix layouts. Oulton Park and Cadwell Park are back on the calendar for 2025 and will host the fifth and sixth meeting of the season respectively, before the championship heads back to Kent for the season finale at Brands Hatch.
Hopes will be high for another cracking championship curtain closer in November.
